The Director of Technology Delivery will manage all aspects of development, estimation, design, unit testing, integration testing, and hand-off to Quality Assurance and Operations for multiple, fast-moving customer initiatives in parallel.

The Director of Technology Delivery will be responsible for “hands-on” management of estimation, design, and development of technology solutions in a rapidly-moving environment. This will include maintaining high standards for design, development, and unit testing, employing metrics from past initiatives to manage continuous improvement. This will include recruiting and managing top notch web and software engineers.
In the capacity as Director of Technology Delivery, the Director will balance the development of creative solutions for unique customer needs with establishment of a common platform of services that is easily configurable for general customer needs. To accomplish this, there will be close collaboration with internal teams to assure on-time delivery of high-reliability software as well as to assure satisfaction of customer needs.
The position of Director of Technology Delivery requires a person with unique skills, experience and educational background. The ideal candidate must have:
- A Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related discipline. Advance degree preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years leading object-oriented software development efforts in the capacity as technology manager, technical lead, lead software engineer, or architect.
- Minimum of two (2) years directly managing software or information technology staff while managing simultaneous delivery of multiple software development efforts.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in brainstorming, architecture, and implementation meetings with technology, marketing and sales staff.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred qualifications >>
- Three (3) or more years of experience with Microsoft .NET and Visual Studio technologies.
- Two (2) or more years of experience developing or managing large-scale internet applications, i.e., online applications supporting several hundred transactions per second or more.
- Experience developing or managing social networking applications or mobile applications.
