ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - SALES

Position Description
An Account Executive is responsible for all revenue generation through sales of Neighborhood America’s technology solutions through various markets and channels. This includes but is not limited to the following roles and responsibilities:

Identifying opportunities to leverage Web and mobile technology to build social networks that support corporate financial goals, reputations and brands.

Meeting quota and revenue targets by developing, coordinating and executing on prospects.

Responding to prospect’s request for information and identifying opportunities through follow-up of leads generated from email, inbound calls, marketing campaigns, tradeshows etc.

Researching and conducting out-bound calling campaigns to targeted Fortune 1000 companies and/or following-up on leads generated via in-bound calls.

Qualifying prospect’s business needs, technical requirements and project details via phone and web conferences. Using solution based selling techniques to convey the business case in order to close business opportunities.

Developing and maintaining a high level of product knowledge on Neighborhood America solutions and mobile technology

Developing and maintaining a high level of knowledge of the industry trends as they relate to web and mobile marketing, social networking, user-generated content, community building, and advertising.

Completing and submitting all required reports such as forecasts, activity, compensation and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Executing work plans to drive business both internally and externally.

Reporting on a weekly basis, all activities to include, but not limited to, meetings, contacts, calendar, travel, updates and forecasts into the sales management software program.

Assisting in the preparation of proposals, contracts, and RFP’s as requested.

Traveling for customer engagements and/or conferences as required or requested.

Maintaining awareness of market based information and industry trends in order to best position Neighborhood America product offerings and solutions.Providing feedback to marketing on the quality of inquiries and leads generated through various marketing and sales activities.

Requirements
The foremost requirement for all persons employed with Neighborhood America is a passion for what we do, intelligence and integrity in all behaviors and actions, and a willingness to be team oriented in order to accomplish extraordinary results. Additional requirements include:

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications required. Other related disciplines will be considered.

Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible and related sales experience and a proven record of successful selling of technology solutions in various markets.

A demonstrated understanding of business needs and software technology solutions with Fortune 1000 businesses (advertisers, advertising agencies, marketing firms and major media).

A demonstrated understanding of mobile technology such as SMS, MMS, WAP, J2ME and the evolving mobile marketing industry.

Comprehension and application of social networking, online community building, user-generated content, and mobile marketing campaigns.

Ability to represent Neighborhood America in various industry and trade associations as applicable.

Ability to develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of the industry trends as they relate to Neighborhood America solutions including mobile marketing, social networking, user-generated content and community building.

Ability to relate technical and business concepts to Neighborhood America applications and user needs

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strategic selling skills, ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics to develop and implement a sales plan

Must be able to work collaboratively with other team members.

Previous experience with proposal and contracts management strongly desired.

Ability to conduct demonstrations of Neighborhood America’s offerings and solutions.

Strong analytical and project management skills.

Strong research skills with the ability to analyze and strategically evaluate opportunities/leads.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and listening skills
