October 27, 2005 - Neighborhood America's Executive Vice President and CTO, David Bankston, has recently joined the teaching staff at Antioch University McGregor's Master of Arts in Management Program as a part-time faculty member. Located in Ohio, the weekend program prepares graduate students for careers in a global community by developing the leadership skills requisite in today's challenging work environment.
Mr. Bankston's role in leading Neighborhood America uniquely qualifies him to build upon his real world experience to effectively teach "The Impact of Technology on the Individual and Organization." The objectives of the course will be to help students understand the current major technology trends in business, to understand the impact of technology throughout the organization and to understand the need to stay current on technology throughout a career.
University leaders recognized the importance of helping master degree candidates grasp the importance of technology, even if they are not in a technical role themselves. In an effort to strengthen the technology curriculum, Antioch University McGregor sought Mr. Bankston's demonstrated leadership and knowledge as an innovative thought-leader in the role that technology plays in the future of business.
"I am honored to be able to share my passion and experience with students who are eager to learn,” expressed Bankston. "I look forward to this new role, and appreciate the opportunity to help prepare our future business leaders for excellence."
