July 1, 2005 - With a VIP red carpet opening, Neighborhood America premiered its cutting edge Online Help
and Training system on June 17. Unlike traditional help and training systems, this innovative
movie was created using state-of-the-art graphics, sophisticated animation and advanced video
technology. The end result is a powerful combination of entertainment and education wrapped
into one web-based system that is available to customers from anywhere, at anytime.
The movie, Journey Through the Communications Manager, takes customers on a guided tour
through the Company's core product. Customers can select the level of training that best suits
their needs, access the training whenever it is convenient for them, and utilize the system
without the need to install a CD or additional software.
The system opened to rave reviews from all in attendance, including Neighborhood America's
President, Kim Patrick Kobza. "This production is an absolute representation of our Company. It
demonstrates sensitivity to our customer's needs, and our ability to respond to those needs.
This is a real differentiator for us, and it shows how important teamwork is to the success of our
company. When we pool our talents and work together as a team, we achieve great results."
Mark Bush, Technical Communications Manager, directed the team efforts and was assisted by
Miri Buchman, Graphics and Animation; Bill Colletti, Audio and Voiceovers; Vicki Richards,
Voiceovers; Kristi Grigsby, Script Writing; and David Bankston, Video Technology.
The sequel to the movie, featuring the Company’s award-winning software Public Comment
Service, is currently in production.
