December 4, 2007 - Neighborhood America, the leading provider of enterprise social networking solutions, today announced a strategic expansion to deliver mission-critical levels of service to its growing customer base. As part of the expansion, the company anticipates the immediate hiring of forty new employees including account executives, technical programmers, project managers, and supporting executives.
The theme for the announcement, "Go for Launch," was selected to convey the urgency with which Neighborhood America is meeting growing customer demands for enterprise social networking solutions. "Go for Launch" focuses on two distinct objectives: 1) the delivery of an exceptional customer experience, and 2) product development that capitalizes on Neighborhood America's market leadership for best-in-class enterprise solutions.
New "Customer First" Group
The newly formed "Customer First" group will be a driving force in the company, ensuring that the highest available levels of service are delivered to every customer and partner.
Comprised of team members from customer service, project management, technical services, account management, systems integration, technical maintenance and programming, the group has recently moved into the company's "Customer First" command center - a newly created open-office environment within corporate headquarters.
The "Customer First" command center removes organizational hierarchies and physical boundaries between departments to ensure a customer focus. The command center enables real-time communication with customers and provides team members with immediate access to necessary resources to ensure that customers receive an excellent experience at every touch point within the company.
Tailored Solutions - Adoption of Open API Strategy
Neighborhood America is also adopting a technical product development strategy that reflects its success as an enterprise application. Enterprise customers often require integration of enterprise social networking software with other business systems such as customer relationship management (CRM), ERP platforms, and content management systems.
In 2008, Neighborhood America will make it easier for customers to tailor Neighborhood America's enterprise solution to work with their other software applications and in a way that meets the specific and unique needs of each individual customer. Technology development will shift focus to a three-tiered Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) that results in a single, branded solution. The company is also developing and will soon release a full set of open API's that enable Neighborhood America's software platform to easily "talk to" other software solutions. This will enable the company to continue building on its growing base of enterprise customers and strategic partners. Neighborhood America's solution will be the first enterprise social networking platform available to provide customers with the ability to tailor scalable enterprise solutions that are right for them.
"This is an exciting and historic time at Neighborhood America," expressed David Bankston, Neighborhood America's co-founder and CTO. "We are expanding our organization to capitalize on the solid opportunities ahead of us in 2008. With this launch, we are moving forward together as one team, committed to the success of both our company and our customers."
