April 19, 2004 - Neighborhood America has become an official IBM Business Partner with the
Fortune 50 Company. Neighborhood America's software technology, together
with IBM's hosting and other services, provides new on demand solutions within
the corporation's Government Services sector.
Using Neighborhood America's technology, the two companies offer
governments and their agencies Public Communications Management Systems
for project administration and citizen participation in a variety of planning and
policy-making initiatives at the federal, state and local levels.
"This is a relationship we have been working to forge for many months," stated
Dan Bevarly, Director of Market Relations and Business Development at
Neighborhood America. "We recognize IBM as a global leader in our
marketplace. We believe that IBM's aggressive commitment to Independent
Software Vendors (ISV) is a solid opportunity for us."
A management team from Neighborhood America attended the annual IBM
PartnerWorld conference last month to present to IBM's top sales and business
development executives in the federal, state and local government sectors.
From those meetings, a strategy and business plan is steadily emerging on how
the companies can work together. Bevarly stated that the two companies have
already identified specific applications that they expect to bring to the
government market in the near future.
"This is a very important and strategic relationship," said Bevarly. "Both
companies have made significant investments into how we work together and
how we jointly bring solutions to the public sector." IBM's Solution Sales
Manager, Erin Nisson agreed, " We are very excited about our new relationship.
We look forward to working together with Neighborhood America and to
providing the best possible service to our customers."
