Community Building Program Builds Relations with Area Customers, Partners, and Industry Professionals

March 2, 2004 - Neighborhood America is aggressively pursuing its community building program to reach out to area customers, partners, and industry professionals. The goal of this program is to build relationships with key businesses and organizations that embrace or support the use of technology as an important economic development tool for area organizations.

Neighborhood America's goal is to establish the national standard for information technology that is used to manage public communications within governmental agencies and also to facilitate the management of real estate development. Southwest Florida has many leading companies and agencies within both vertical markets. Dan Bevarly, Director of Market Relations and Business Development, stated, "We currently enjoy national recognition with such systems as the Statute of Liberty, Imagine New York, and Flight 93. However, we want to play an important role and support the community that serves as our corporate headquarters here in Southwest Florida. That is the primary purpose of the community building program."

At the heart of the company's community building program is its newly opened corporate headquarters and state-of-the-art business center, located at 2210 Vanderbilt Beach Road. The new business center provides the professional setting and means to accommodate meetings and conferences for customer and industry focus groups as well as project team meetings, providing a valuable opportunity for key groups to collaborate on their projects. The company is also establishing events and guided headquarter tours that foster a greater awareness of both their capabilities and resources.

"Most successful technology companies have been entrusted by the industry to lead and establish standards," explained Bevarly. "Our goal is to recognize this early and make it a part of our culture, ultimately serving to sustain our rapid growth. Our local community should play an important role in this development."
