June 18, 2008 - Naples, FL (PRWEB) June 18, 2008 -- Neighborhood America announces the expansion of its executive leadership with the hiring of Jim Haughwout as CIO and Vice President of Technology Development. An industry veteran with a proven track record of delivering results for Fortune 1000 companies including AOL, Amgen, Booz Allen Hamilton and Lockheed Martin, Haughwout will spearhead the company's technology development, innovation and strategic product visioning.

Prior to joining Neighborhood America, Jim's leadership at Amgen led to a 21-fold increase in project completion rate across a $70 million technology portfolio. While serving as Technology Director for Architecture and Core Systems at AOL, he created integrated platforms and used reliability engineering to achieve up-times exceeding 99.999% while delivering over 11,000 transactions per second, 24x7x365.

He holds a Masters Degree in Business and Government Affairs from Harvard University and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from MIT.
